I first had the idea to create a blog about our family and invite distant relatives and remote family members to participate sometime around 2001 or so. I was much younger then (as we all were) and somewhat naive about what that would entail. Mind you, I was experienced with computers and engineering but my web skills and the tools available were not up to it. Not to mention I had been married to my second wife for only 5 years and we were still very engaged in spending time with each other and living life. But I get ahead of myself and you will get the picture as I develop it over the next few weeks to years (God willing). Suffice it to say that now I have the tools and skills to get this done. About me?
